Rent-to-own Band & Orchestra Instruments

Here at First Note Music we partner with Music & Arts to bring you the highest quality band and orchestra instrument rentals on the market.  We carry Yamaha, Armstrong, Bach, Selmer, Vito and many other brands for beginning band students.

 

Our rent-to-own program is perfect for beginning students or adults.  100% of your rental payment applies toward the purchase price of your instrument.  Along with the rental payment (see chart below for prices) we offer the LDW program.  LDW is the Liability/Damage Waiver: it covers any damage to your instrument (bent keys, pad replacement, etc...) and also covers your liability in the event of loss or theft.

 

We rent entry level student instruments.  Step-up and professional instruments are available for sale but are not a part of the rental program.

How does it work?

  • 100% of rental payments apply toward purchase (rent-to-own)

All the money you pay on your rental instrument will apply toward the purchase price of that instrument.  You can rent for the entirety of your contract and at the end, the instrument is yours.

 

  • No obligation to buy

You can return your instrument at anytime with no further obligation.  There are never any return or contract cancellation fees.  If you need to return your rental instrument, give us a call today and we'll talk you through the process.

 

  • Return or exchange any time

All the money you pay toward renting one instrument is fully transferrable to a different instrument of equal or greater value (exchanges apply only to rental payment, not LDW coverage).  There is no exchange fee and we generally have replacement instruments in-stock.  Some larger instruments (tenor sax, bass clarinet) may require up to 5-business days before we can exchange.  See contract for further details.

 

  • Competitive payoff discount of 30% available any time

As long as you are renting your instrument, we can guarantee you a 30% discount off the balance of your purchase price.  Purchase options are available any time during your contract period.  Give us a call or stop in today to discuss purchase options!
